When God created the first human being, the Bible tells us that He took a bunch of dirt, molded it into a man and then breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. And so, Adam, out of the ground, became a living being. Now think about this. After Adam came to life, what would have been the very first thing that he would have seen? Remember, Adam wasn't born, he was created. He didn't move into adulting—he started there. So what would have been Adam's very first memory in this new world that God brought him into? I think it would have been the face of his Father, God. I think Adam was the first one to see God face to face. And I think just like Adam, we have been made to behold the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ! We were made for FaceTime with God through Jesus! And as we behold the glory of God in the face of Jesus, it changes us. We become more like Him, the same image, and go from glory to glory! Join us for this series as we look at what it means to behold God's glory and to see God face to face!
